Officially named the “Musky Capital of the World” Boulder Junction is a choice destination for fishermen. Northern pike, walleye, trout, bass, and panfish also abound in the 190 lakes situated within and around Boulder Junction. Download the Wisconsin Fishing Dates.
Beyond fishing, Trout Lake is the perfect place to swim, ski, sail, and canoe to your heart’s content.
For biking enthusiasts, there is a 14 mile paved walking and bike path, just ½ mile away. Or you can hike through the woods on the snowmobile trails. They’re both great for viewing the fall colors too.
The town offers many restaurants and shops, Wednesday night Music in the Park, Musky Day Jamboree, 4th of July parade and fireworks, Tuesday Flea Markets, and many other local events.
